Out of Bounds! Jam Version
A submission for Beginner's Jam Summer 2024!
Press "A or Left" or "D or Right" to move, "Space or W" to jump, and "Click or LeftCtrl" to dash.
Out of Bounds! is a platformer game with simple controls and a unique game mechanic of phasing through walls to complete 6 levels!
This game also includes a speedrun timer that can be used to speedrun from level 1 to level 6.

Cool game! Very fluid and well put together. I could totally see this being made into a full game too with more mechanics. Very epic.
Fun and simple, the mechanic was a unique experience to me XD
Idk if it was intentional but just in case, there is a minor bug related on the title screen, when you phase on the wall when on title screen and you select a level you stay in the phased state even when not inside the wall. (Pressing r doesn't work when the bug is happening)
Yep, that’s a game bug :( (Thanks for clarifying about the bug!) The rest of the buttons (except for the movement keys) don’t work because the game thinks the player instance is in the “outside” state.

I love the movement style. took a little while for me to realise that you can't dash into a wall if you're right next to it. I don't know if that's a bug or a feature.
I’m glad you liked the movements! You needed some speed (any applies except for 0) to dash through a wall. Being right next to it stops your velocity and doesn’t apply the collision needed.
